MDM Policy - Windows Laptop Enrollment
Overview
To ensure security, compliance, and centralized management, all company-issued Windows laptops must be enrolled in our Mobile Device Management (MDM) system. This allows IT to enforce security policies, manage software, and provide remote support.
Mac devices are auto-enrolled into SimpleMDM, but Windows laptops require manual enrollment through the Company Portal app.
Enrollment Steps for Windows Laptops
Step 1: Install the Company Portal
- Open the Microsoft Store on your Windows laptop.
- Search for Company Portal.
- Click Install and wait for the installation to complete.

Step 2: Sign in to Company Portal
- Open the Company Portal app.
- Sign in with your Mesh AI Google login details.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to begin enrollment.
Step 3: Complete Device Setup
- Accept the Device Management Agreement.
- Allow necessary permissions for security policies to be applied.
- Wait for the setup to complete and verify that your device is marked as compliant.
Troubleshooting & Support
- If the Company Portal app does not install, ensure that Windows updates are current.
- If you cannot sign in, verify that your company credentials are correct.

Compliance Requirement
- Enrollment in MDM is mandatory for all Windows laptops.
- Unenrolled devices may lose access to company resources.
